About Uttarakhand
Uttarakhand, also known as Dev Bhoomi, the land of God, is simply heaven. It was formed on 9th November 2000 as 27th state of India. Dehradun is the Capital of Uttarakhand but on 4th March 2020, Gairsain, in Chamoli district, became the summer capital and Dehradun as the winter capital of Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand is divided into two region Garhwal region and Kumaon region with 13 districts. The high court of Uttarakhand is situated in Nainital.
Hindi and Sanskrit are the language of Uttarakhand where hindi is the official language of Uttarakhand. Garhwali and Kumaoni are the native or regional language of Uttarakhand. People residing here are known as Garhwali, kumauni and jaunsari.
It is surrounded by snowcapped hills, water and tree makes it more beautiful. Everywhere is Greenery and cleanliness. There are many historical temples, pilgrimage, trekking, river rafting, meditation, yoga, skiing, wildlife sanctuaries and much more are blessed to have here. These features attract tourists not only from India but tourists from abroad also love it.
